Category: Gadget

Nokia has announced they are releasing the next phone in the n-series, the N810 Internet Tablet.

“The Nokia N810 packs the power of a traditional computer into a pocket-sized format. Its open standard technology accelerates the convergence of multiple functionalities and services into a single device”, said Ari Virtanen, Vice President, Convergence Products, Multimedia, Nokia. “Our new Nokia N810 offers users a true Web 2.0 experience in a compact, stylish, yet affordable package – it connects people to what matters to them.”

The phone comes with a linux based OS, has wifi, bluetooth, flash, “enhanced audio and video support”, and ajax support, which to most people means nothing, but it means you can run sites like facebook and myspace without too many hassles. So it will be good for everyone who is hooked into the “web 2.0″ world we are currently living in.
