Another film I have been dying to see is Rambo. I’m a big fan of the Rambo series. Always have been and I hope it can have the finish(?), that is deserving of such a film series.

The Australian release date is February 21st, 2008, with the United States having it released on the 25th of February.

It is good to see that they have decided to do a remake/sequel, (yes that is what it was categorised as), of the first Incredible Hulk film. The entire cast and writing team was remade so that it could be classed as a sequel but also be “different enough to be classed as a reboot”. And to be fair, with Edward Norton as the Hulk, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth and William Hurt also appearing in the film, I think we can see a big change from the first. Also it appears as though Edward Norton wrote the script, so I can’t wait to see how it turned out. The Australian release date currently is June 12, with the US release date on June 13.

Having been a big fan of Speed and the Mach 5 as a child, I for one cannot wait for the film to come out. The Wachowski brothers of Matrix fame, have put this one together. It obviously can go one way or the other, as this is one of those high risk catagories as turning a 1960′s cartoon into a film is obviously going to be hard work. I do like the cast though, John Goodman is pops, Emile Hirsch as Speed, Christina Ricci as Trixie could all work, and they also have Matthew Fox, Susan Sarandon and a few other actors I’m sure you’ve all seen before.

The Australian Release date is currently May 8 June 12, 2008, in the US May 9, and here is the trailer.

Another movie I have been pumped waiting for it’s release is Alien Vs. Predator: Requiem, and I am very glad to see it coming out on 26th December 2007. I am pumped for this one, it has one of the most full-on trailers I have ever seen, and highly recommend watching the trailer.

Please also note: There are rumours circulating that the release dates have been pushed back. I can neither confirm or deny these rumours, however I have checked the local cinema websites and the official site has the 26th of December.

Now anyone who’s seen the film knows there is substantial amount of pro-Gore information in there, telling of his struggle and rise against all odds, and yadda yadda yadda… So anyways I’m just going to list below the information which was found to be not true:

• Hurricane Katrina could not be linked to global warming, was found by judge to be “erroneous”
• The Antarctic ice core data presented in the film “do not establish what Mr. Gore asserts”
• There was a lack of scientific evidence to prove that the drying of Lake Chad was related to global warming
• The reason why the Polar Bears were drowning was due to a particularly violent storm, not because of increased distances that they had to swim.
• The judge ruled that it was an impossibility that global warming could shut down the Gulf Stream and set Europe into an ice age.
• Al Gore tries to link global warming to several other events such as coral bleaching, sea level rise and more; however these events are not linked to global warming and should not be treated as such.
• He states that there is a cure for polio, there is no cure for polio, only a vaccine
• He states that 2005 was the hottest year on record in the US, however NASA has confirmed that the hottest year on record was in fact 1934 and that 2005 is not even in the top ten.

There are even a few more factual errors that I didn’t mention, however you can read the judges report, which is far more in depth than I am.
