Alien Vs. Predator: Requiem Australian release date

Another movie I have been pumped waiting for it’s release is Alien Vs. Predator: Requiem, and I am very glad to see it coming out on 26th December 2007. I am pumped for this one, it has one of the most full-on trailers I have ever seen, and highly recommend watching the trailer.

Warning: Trailer is restricted, possibly due to violence, it is very full on, do not watch it if you are easily offended by violence or at work, or not of appropriate age in your country, state or territory.

Please also note: There are rumours circulating that the release dates have been pushed back. I can neither confirm or deny these rumours, however I have checked the local cinema websites and the official site has the 26th of December.
If you want to find out the international release dates, just check it out on, the avp-r website.

Dear Alex - I thought Alien vs Predator: Requiem was totally boring, apart from the special effects. The acting was very B-grade, and the story was very juvenile. The film plot is basically one after another after another after another person being killed by Alien and its babies, in a kind of over-done gory fashion, getting more and more voyeuristic (semi-naked pregnant women in a hospital having their fetuses sucked out by the Alien shoving its organ all the way down their throats?), while Predator does an increasingly crappy job of finding the Aliens and destroying the evidence of their visit to earth until the US Army finally nukes the place and does the job for him. The amazing cast includes a bunch of poorly frightened townsfolk from Small Town USA, including your beleaguered but courageous sheriff, a teenage girl with the skinniest body in Hollywood who strips down to her bikini in an “erotic”(?) scene, and a pizza delivery boy who has an innate sense of how to use a military-issue automatic rifle. The film has very little in common with the first Alien movies. One of the golden rules of horror cinema is that if you scare the audience too often, it isn’t scary anymore, it becomes a joke. The film breaks this rule. This film is disappointing and doesn’t live up to the hype. It is schlocky without being funny in the way the 1950s sci-films were. Do yourself a favor and don’t go. Don’t even watch it on DVD.
